libzdb compilation with G++ compiler

Hi All,
I would like to link the zdb library with the existing CPP source code. So when I tried to compile the zdb library code with GNU cpp compiler, its not able to compile.  
Can anybody please let me know how to link or compile the zdb library with the CPP source code.
